Tone Master - Quadriceps
Quadriceps (right) Place door bar 2-3 inches from the bottom of the doorway and secure behind door jam. Clip the resistance to the left ring of the door bar and put the ankle harness on the right ankle. Place a chair in front of the doorway facing opposite and slide the resistance between the chair legs and fasten to the back of the right ankle. Place a pillow on the chair so that you are slightly elevated and sit in the chair sliding it away from the doorway until it begins to bring the right ankle backwards towards the doorway. Begin by extending the right leg slowly until the right knee is locked and slowly bring the leg backwards again. Place a pillow on the seat of the chair for elevation and slide the chair away from the doorway until the resistance pulls the left ankle backward. Begin by extending the left leg slowly until the left knee is locked and then slowly returning it back again. Continue this exercise as demonstrated. |
